Men Fellowship

THE MEN FELLOWSHIP CHARLES NEW CHURCH

The men fellowship Charles New Church is composed of all men who are full members of Charles New Church.  It is headed by the Superintendent Minister as the patron, a chairman, secretary and a treasurer all elected by the church with the advice of the men fellowship members.  Currently the fellowship is made up of Seventy Five (75) members.  As the fellowship we are part of the larger Charles New congregation and we participate in all the affairs of the church that the church has given as its activities.  In addition we have our own programs that are exclusively for the men fellowship that run throughout every year.  Some of those activities include meeting for fellowship and choir practice every Wednesday at Tumaini House 7th floor in town, participating in rally competitions in circuit, synod and connexional levels, visiting our members identified for visitation by the members, seminars, assisting any needy cases both within the fellowship and even outside the fellowship and we hold bonding sessions once every quarter.

In order for these activities to run smoothly the members are subjected to an annual membership fees that is normally paid to the treasurer and he uses the fund to fund the budget for all the activities for the whole year.

In conclusion, the men fellowship is a very active group in the church and one of the foundations of the church.  They contribute immensely towards the well being of the entire church in general.
